Lag

Retaining the wrist hinge deep into the downswing instead of releasing it early, storing up clubhead speed for impact.

✗ Casting angle lost The wrist angle is released early, speed is spent before the ball. ✓ Lag angle held The angle is held much longer, speed arrives at the ball.
