Chili Dip
Slang for an extreme chunked chip that barely moves the ball at all, essentially just a bad case of the fat chip.
First documented in 1956, the exact origin is unclear, but the leading theory (per the Historical Dictionary of Golfing Terms) is that it evokes the same feeble, scooping motion as dipping a chip into salsa. It's distinctly American slang, elsewhere it's usually just called fat.
